1st Bd for mummy and 1st cooking experience!

So this must be a first for mummy and my in-laws and how they spent 31st Dec :) We decided to invite the in-laws over and daddy forgo his gathering to have a nice get-2-gather and celebrate mom's bd as well. We bought this super duper nice pistachio-chocolate cake from Cedele and my maid did her usual magic in the kitchen. Overall we had a really nice time. Thanks all for making it special :)

The next day we decided to embark on our first Cooking adventure together :) We had pasta, mushroom / ham sauce, bacon bits, mash potato, calamari, aioli sauce, breaded mushrooms and mushroom/potato soup. Pwahhhhh a lot to eat.. and it was fun to cook with the wife. Shopping for stuff (we concluded that Carefour has the MOST variety of stuff in stock) and the cooking experience is definitely something i would recommend couples. Mashing manually is no joke sia. but i think wifey did more work with the sauces. Cooking itself is rather ok actually. I feel its probably the sauces that makes cooking an art in itself.
