Montreal !

so we reached montreal today after a long and very harrowing experience at the NY JFK airport. I mean good lord...upon reaching the JFK airport it was total chaos. SO MANY PPLE at the checkin line and the queue doesnt seem to be moving. I reckon its cos the staff occasionally allow others to cut queue. I mean even in SG if there wasnt an internet check in, the lines were orderly and moved fairly quickly. Never remembered JFK airport for Delta airlines was so horrible.
Well luckily we had internet check in and even then it wasnt as fast as we hoped. Then come a 2nd shock. We were at the gates ready to go into the waiting lounge area, there was only 1 lady checking our boarding passes and tickets. She got stuck checking this whole family of abt.... say... 10 + members? and we had to wait and wait and wait.. *faint*

waiting to taxi for the plane to fly @ JFK took abt 30 mins,. flight time was only 50 mins or so... sometimes u do miss SG's efficiency. On the other hand, can you imagine how great America can be if they learn to be more efficient than what they are used to now? I reckon they will be a force to be reckon with IF they learn to be way more efficient than what they are now...

The flight was cool though. 50 pple in a nice small plane. The single air steward was frenly and sociable. After a little hiccup we finally reached our hotel 4 points sheraton @ central montreal. The room is sweeeeeeeeeet. Big room, sofa + wireless internet for free! AHHHhhhhhhhhhhh

We went to check out the Just for laugh stuff and bought some merchandise. Its surprising that they din really setup most of the stuff till today (and today is opening day some more)... tsk tsk...

we bought tickets for 1 show tml first just to test water... hopefully it will be good. Its a pity we cant take in the major show since we will be @ LA then but well hopefully whatever we go see will be good. Planning to do other stuff too whilst we are here and some shopping... *cross fingers*

one thing though, montreal's architecture reminds me so much of eastern europe when i visited some time ago. quite colorless and drab the buildings.... a whee bit boring :p

signing off....
