A very long day...
it was a long Friday and Saturday for me...but at least the latter was spent with snuffy hubby.
just 13 days to go and we're down to the nitty gritty stuff for the big day like a few seating arrangements, meeting up with helpers to discuss what will go on then and doing signages up like this...
snuffy hubby and i helped gwizzly preen and pose till we got this new picture of him in a bow (courtesy of josee). =)
we had to run down to the bridal shop a couple of times over the past two days to view the designer's proposed design and to make amendments.
the original design was rather disastrous, so we spent most of last evening sitting in the studio with the designer's assistant, telling him where we want what and what he should do with which.
it was a LONG process as we found out that the poor guy couldn't spell (we put words in the album).
ah well. hope all goes well today.
as for the morning till afternoon, the SHINE Mobil team headed out into the streets of orchard to spread the news about July's SHINE Youth Festival.
by the way, it kicks off next saturday with a launch party at Coastes, Sentosa!
so if you'd like to join us for an evening of fun and meeting youth from varied backgrounds, just let me know and i'll put you on the guest list. =)
i'll be sitting on the panel for the press conference in the afternoon so the run next week will be in the good hands of my fellow panellists.
here's a picture of us before setting out on our quest...
steven's got a way with the laydees...
he's even helping them push their fishballs...
and one of my favorite pictures of the day...
check out the helicopter view of the SHINE Mobil...
many thanks to the volunteers who came down yesterday to help out in our first ra-ra.
i just wish i could've taken part fully and been on the streets with them.
snuffy hubby and i agreed that i should direct the SHINE Mobil instead because i don't want to be sporting a weird tan on our wedding day.
that's what happens when you need to plan a wedding and SHINE, and face the increasingly heavy workload from your job.
AND preparing for matriculation next week.
i wonder if my blood pressure could go any higher. =P
