nutz about beetles
The very first VW bug i saw was from the movie Herbie (the one with the VW bug that is alive? Lindsey Lohan remade one in recent years).
Then my maths teacher in my primary sch years had one too!
Now as i am nearing an age where i COULD afford a car, i find myself thinking how cool it would be to have a VW bug. Not the new ones but the vintage ones. They cost ard sgd$30k a pop so its quite affordable. But MANY MANY pple have been telling me the maintenance will be hell *sob*
In anycase, i had a dream that my car would be black based and there will be BIG yellow smiley faces all around the car. So that it will brighten up everyone's face as i drove it everywhere in sunny singapore.
Cool huh?
Best thing is? Wifey supports the idea *BEAMS*

How much exactly is the maintenance for the old beetle? I've been eyeing one as well. But the thought of being stranded on CTE with a stalled beetle, and in my heels and office attire, give me the spooks. So, you know much?
well some pple say it ranges from a few k to ard 10k or so...
personally? i duno actually...
but i tink one beetle is ard 30k to 50k..
so maybe most pple are saying the price range + maintenance, might as well buy a new better one :)
